Oscar Nilsson was an influential furniture designers of the inter-war period. He was frequently assigned by prestigious Stockholm master carpenters to design interiors and furniture for private homes and public spaces. Nilsson’s designs were characterized by clean, modernist lines with a decor of geometric patterns, always carried out with expert craftsmanship. One of Nilsson’s cabinets was exhibited at the World Exhibition in Paris in 1937.
